Willow Smith Tops the Charts With Three New Hits

Willow Smith Tops the Charts With Three New Hits
05.12.16

It’s been a month since the release of the soothing lullaby “November 9th” and Willow Smith is back at it with a triple-shot of new songs. The 16-year old daughter of Will Smith released an unexpected three-song compendium entitled Mellifluous. Neither of us knew what the word meant if you’re wondering that right now, so Merriam-Webster was so kind to explain it. Namely it means having a smooth and rich flow while at the same time having something sweetening. The definition fits like a glove, the songs produced by Willow named- “Cave Wall”, “Little Shard” and “Need to Know” sound just like caramelized sugar.

The trio is weary and provokes the mind, the latter especially finds Willow singing about her mind feeling like a cold prison circling around her travelling in all directions only to find herself in the same place still standing. Mellifluous was issued two days after her brother Jaden released the video for “Fallen”. The creative side of the Smiths is clearly at it’s best these days.
