The Chainsmokers Upsets Pittsburgh Crowd with Grammar Mistake

The Chainsmokers Upsets Pittsburgh Crowd with Grammar Mistake
24.04.17

We think it’s safe to say that everyone knows who The Chainsmokers are, they are the hottest EDM duo of the moment. Considering the fact that the two artists are always writing rhymes, one would expect their grammar to be flawless. However, this is not the case since the EDM duo recently performed their latest “Paris” and “Closer” tracks in Pittsburgh and managed to upset the crowd by mistakenly writing “Thank You Pittsburg” instead of “Pittsburgh”.

What’s funny is that this is a perfect situation where autocorrect comes in. If the EDM duo had simply written “Pittsbu-“, autocorrect would have instantly completed the name. To the band’s fortune, Pittsburgh residents didn’t take it too bad and had a laugh about it. Let’s just hope that The Chainsmokers are going to pay extra attention to what they write from now on.
