There were many great performances during the VMAs but the one that stands out the most is Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back”. The singer’s charisma and powerful voice made fans get off their seats and dance along with him. In fact, Bebe Rhexa also got off her chair and raised her arms in awe.
Nonetheless, who can blame Bebe Rexha for getting excited when Shawn Mendes performs because that’s what everyone does. Especially since Shawn Mendes was surrounded by old flickering TV sets which gave his performance a more original feel. In addition, Ed Sheeran who was also in the crowd at the VMAs was equally impressed by Shawn Mendes' performance as Bebe Rexha.
