Reese Witherspoon Covers Taylor Swift's Song

Reese Witherspoon Covers Taylor Swift's Song
13.12.16

Reese Witherspoon is an actress, business woman and now singer. The Oscar winning actresses proved that she can sing one again but the first time Reese Witherspoon showcased her singing skills was when she took on the role of June Carter Cash in 2005, the movie which helped her get awarded with an Oscar.

The actress is voicing Rosita, a pig momma from the animated movie “Sing” and Rosita’s story is that she gave up her dreams of being a singer in favor of raising a family. In the movie, Reese Witherspoon covers Taylor Swift’s top hit “Shake it Off” where she is accompanied by Nick Kroll’s goofy vocals. Taylor Swift’s song sounds completely different and not only because of Reese’s vocals, but because the “Sing” studio mixed the song’s background to resemble a more modern dubstep style. We can be sure that the cover will not become a top hit any time soon, not because of Reese’s vocals but because of its crazy EDM style.
