The ex One Direction member, Zayn Malik is going to have its first book published on the 1st of November. To get fans interested in his book he published a paragraph from his book, giving everyone a sneak peek of what’s to come.
Zayn Malik has published the paragraph on the 13th of October and it he talks about his hit song “Pillowtalk”. In the paragraph Zayn showcases how his creative process was restricted and that he wanted to write songs about sex, but the band did not allow him to.
“Every lyric I’ve ever written has a story behind it,” Zayn wrote. “All the hard work that went into the creation of ‘Pillowtalk’ was worthwhile because, as soon as it was finished, I intuitively felt I was on the right path. It was a sick cut, nailing the exact sound I wanted to capture in my music. I was also able to sing about a subject that I hadn’t really been able to go near while I was in One Direction: sex.”
It seems like there were more differences among the One Direction band members than it might seem at a first glance.
