After a long time of waiting, John Mayer has finally launched a new album. The album was released on April 14th and it is entitled “The Search for Everything”. Considering the fact that Kendrick Lamar decided to release his latest “DAMN” album on the same date, we can safely say that John Mayer is not going to hit the number one spot in the charts. Kendrick Lamar is the hottest rapper right now and he is very hard to beat.
However, John Mayer doesn’t seem to have any problem with the fact that Kendrick Lamar’s album dropped the same day as his. The singer even went on Twitter and made fun of the fact that Kendrick Lamar is going to overshadow him. John Mayer posted the following “When one of your favorite artists slides into that Friday release schedule and will handily take the number one slot but you’re too excited to listen to it to even care”.
