Therefore, no one should be surprised to find out that Jay-Z is going to be honored as an “Music Icon” during the upcoming Grammys.
Things get even better for Jay-Z since the 2018 Grammy Awards will take in place in New York City for the first time, which is Jay-Z’s hometown. The Recording Academy made it official that Jay-Z is going to receive the famous “Salute to Industry Icons Award” during the next Grammy Awards and that they are honored to do it in New York City.
