Chester Bennington’s death shocked and affected the entire world, including huge music artists such as Jay Z. As many of you might already know, Jay Z actually collaborated with Chester Bennington, the lead man of Linkin Park, when they created “Numb/Encore”. The track was a hybrid between hip-hop and rock, and people loved it!
Jay Z decided to pay tribute to Chester Bennington during July 20th when during his wake. The highly popular rapper decided to pay his respects to Linkin Park’s front many by talking about their time spent together. Also, worth mentioning is that Jay Z actually took time out of his England’s V Festival in order commemorate Chester Bennignton. It’s great seeing that huge music icons such as Jay Z haven’t forgotten where it all started and that they are willing to pay their respects when needed to.
