Jay Z Makes the Majority of his Songs Tidal Exclusive
10.04.17

We have some bad news for Jay Z fans that aren’t subscribed to Tidal, the prolific rapper just took off the majority of his tracks from Spotify. However, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone since Jay Z is the founder and face of Tidal. Even though most of Jay Z’s collaborations such as “Otis” which features Kanye West can still be found on Spotify, his singles are nowhere to be found.

Back in March of 2015 Jay Z launched Tidal which is a music platform that’s focused more on the artist rather than on the production company. Many criticized Jay Z for not putting his fans first, but it looks like he just doesn’t care. We should mention that Spotify has been having some annoying problems during these past few weeks and Jay Z’s actions are surely making it worse for Spotify fans.
