As everybody knows by now, Ed Sheeran is not your typical celebrity. The famous singer doesn’t shy away from paying homage to other great artists. Ed Sheeran was invited on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and that’s where he decided to honor Little Mix. The artist covered one of Little Mix’s tracks and did a great job at that. Even better, Ed Sheeran’s cover was approved by Little Mix themselves over Twitter.
The singer told BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge host that he is a big fan of Little Mix. In his own words “They just have hits upon hits”, “They’re always on point”. We think it’s pretty safe to say that Little Mix has influenced Ed Sheeran along the years. Maybe we should even thank Little Mix for sparking Ed Sheeran’s creative drive. Nonetheless, Ed Sheeran is expected to drop a new album during the upcoming months. We already managed to get a glimpse of it with the “Shape of You” track.
