On the 4th of November Alicia Keys came on to Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” to celebrate her latest album release. She did not only come to present her new record, but to sing a song from it. To help her perform her new song, she brought with her one of the most hyped up rappers at the moment, Young M.A and she used Jimmy Kimmel’s studio band, The Roots to accompany her.
The first song from her new record Here, was “Blended Family” and she featured A$AP Rocky on the song, one of the hottest rapper right now. The rapper Young M.A filled in for Rocky during the rap part of the song and she did a great job.
Alicia Keys was also greeted with a box of doughnuts by Jimmy when she came to the show. This is an inside joke since Alicia Keys and The Roots used the same studio back in the 90’s to rehearse in and they all loved Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
