Biography

Neon Trees is a pop rock/new wave collective from proud State of Utah. It was created by Chris Allen, Tyler Glenn and a bit later Elaine Bradley and David Charles joined them. Adopting their name in honor of In-N-Out Burger signs, folks recorded and released their first extended play “Becoming Different People” in 2006. Playing at night clubs of Las Vegas has its benefits, as member of “The Killers” band noticed them there and broke a deal to hire them as opening act on their tour across United States and Canada in 2008. He also introduced them to Mercury Records, with allowed Neon Trees to produce and release premier album “Habits”. Tyler Glenn wrote all eight tracks present there, and accepted full responsibility for mostly negative critic reaction. Only notable song from that album was “Animal”, and band tried their best to perform it at various popular TV shows like Jimmy Fallon’s and Jay Leno’s. In early 2012, band’s new single “Everybody Talks” got heavy promotion by featuring in ad of Buick’s newest car – Verano. This was a welcome prelude to next album “Picture Show”. Both this and third album “Pop Psychology” from 2014 were regarded as average examples of their genre – not too bad, but not very memorable either.
