Miley Cyrus is a modern cultural phenomenon, teen icon and extremely provocative artist who also happens to sing pop songs. She was born as Destiny Hope Cyrus on 23rd of November in 1992. Her home town is Franklin, Tennessee. Beginning as much more modest performer, she got into TV soap opera “Hannah Montana” and toured across America with The Cheetah Girls – Disney’s girl group, focused on promotion of TV series. In order to break away from that image, she signed up with Hollywood Records label. Single that really took her career off was “See You Again”, which ended up selling almost three million copies. It would be a while before Miley will look like we know her now, as around this time and around time when second album “Breakout” was released, she still looked and behaved like your typical girl next door. Fateful changes began after release of commercially unsuccessful album “Can't Be Tamed” in 2010 and later, culminating in 2013 album “Bangerz”. This fourth album was praised for finding unique and fresh niche within pop music, although prudes among reviewers criticized what they saw as attention seeking. Anyway, it sold more than million copies in USA, providing additional income via concert tours, where tickets usually sold-out almost instantly. Fifth album “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” came out in 2015 and took full advantage of digital platforms Apple Music and Spotify, where it trended for months.
