Biography

Christina Perri is a talented American singer from Philadelphia. She appeared on the music scene after the song “Jar of Hearts.” In 2010 Fox featured the song on the show “So You Think You Can Dance”. She has sold almost 3 million copies of the single, which became a real heat worldwide. It reached No.3 in the UK and stayed in top 40 during further 3 months. At the age of 21, she moved to Los Angeles. She got married and started producing music videos. After a year and a half, she divorced and decided to concentrate on her musical career. In 2009 she moved back to Philadelphia and wrote her worldwide known “Jar of Hearts”. Later she worked as a waitress in LA and recorded the songs at night. After her single debut, Perri was signed to Atlantic Records. In 2011 she debuted with the album “Lovestrong”. Next year she released “A Thousand Years” for worldwide sensation film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn –Part 2”, which accompanied the soundtrack. She sold 4 million copies of the track, which later became platinum. In 2013 Perri released one more successful hit “Human”.
