Charlie Puth is a popular singer and songwriter from the USA. He was born on December 2, 1991, in New Jersey. His mother, Debra, was a musical teacher and started teaching the son playing the piano at the age of 4. When he was 10, he decided to study jazz. He began from posting the videos of his covers on YouTube. Soon, when his talent was noticed, Charlie was signed to Ellen DeGeneres label, which was the beginning of his career. In 2011, he was awarded Pop Crush Music Award for “Someone Like You” cover. Charlie debuted with the single “Marvin Gaye”. It hit top charts in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and Ireland. It was 21st on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. Later, the singer cooperated with Wiz Khalifa on the track “See You Again”. In 2016 Puth debuted with the album “Nine Track Mind”. The album peaked at No.3 in the UK. It became the 6th on the Billboard 200. Its single “One Call Away” hit top 20 on the Hot 100. In 2016, he was the first artist to sign with Deutsch Music.
