Carrie Underwood reached the performance of being the fourth winning contestant of the May 2005 edition of the famous ‘American Idol’. Shortly after the TV show ended, Carrie has already on air her first single ‘Inside Your Heaven’. She was acclaimed for being not only a classical ballad musician, but also for the gift of her strong yet emotional voice that can easily play a country sound. Compared with the winner of the competition, Kelly Clarkson, or the second placed, Reuben Studdard, she was considered as a mature and powerful voice with a genuine personality. Her debut long player 'Some Hearts' received a 6X Platinum and was considered one of the fastest selling debut country album released by Nielson SoundScan. Time passed and her career advanced as she was awarded meanwhile the Billboard Music Awards five times, the American Music Awards four times. She also received two Grammys and received in 2006 and 2007 the title of Female Vocalist Of The Year, for her unanimously acclaimed album ‘Carnival Ride’.
