Carly Rae Jepsen

Carly Rae Jepsen is a wonderful singer and songwriter from Canada. She became famous due to the hit “Call Me Baby”, which hit top charts in more than 10 countries. Carly was born on November 21, 1985, in Misson, British Columbia. She studied musical theater, later worked as a barista and, even, a bartender. She first appeared on the pop music scene with “Tug of War” in 2008. 4 years later the world saw her first EP “Curiosity”, with “Call Me Baby” among the track list. This year she signed a deal with School Boy Records. 2015 witnessed the release of her new album “Emotion”. It was much influenced by the music of the 80s, that’s why received a lot of critics. In spite of this, the single “I Really Like You” hit top 5 in the UK and top 15 in Canada. During her career, Carly got many awards, including 2 Juno Awards, Allan Slaight Award, and Billboard Music Award. She was also nominated for Emmy Awards and Grammy Awards. As of 2015, the singer has sold almost 20 million copies in the whole world.
