Biography

Alex Clare is a famous British singer and songwriter. He was born on September 13, 1985, in London. In childhood, Alex liked to listen to his father’s jazz record and was inspired by Stevie Wonder. In 2010 he changed his stage name from Alexander G.Muertos into Alex Clare. On July 11, 2011, he released his debut album, The Lateness of the Hour, which was produced by Major Lazer and Mike Spencer. “Too Close” is the biggest hit from the album climbed to No 4 on UK Single Charts and No 7 on Billboard Hot 100. Soon, in 2013 it was nominated for British Award as the best British Single. In 2006 the singer dated Amy Winehouse for less than a year. He performed in a bar the Hawley Arms, which Amy often visited. After the breakup, Clare sold their relationship details to the News of the World. In 2015 he moved to Jerusalem with his family. Next year Alex released the album, Tail of Lions.
