Although his home state is South Carolina, he resides in country music capital Nashville and is a famous supporter of National Rifle Association. Lee started climbing up to fame in 2007, writing songs for Cowboy Crush and Keith Gattis. For Garth Brooks, he wrote famous song “More Than a Memory”. He started singing with “She Ain’t Right”, which enjoyed a rather high place in charts for completely unknown artist – 29. This song and few more from this time period ended up on unreleased album “Picture of Me”. He then returned to songwriting for a few years more. Debut album “Love Like Crazy” was preceded by single of same name, which slowly got into top 10 of Hot Country Songs. Album sold around 35,000 copies in first year, but critic reception was negative. Brice took critics seriously, and second album “Hard 2 Love” was received very well. Stephen Erlewine said that its “sturdy and quietly persuasive”, and USA Today rated it 3.5/4. It sold much better as well, with almost 500,000 copies in America alone. In 2014, he added to that success with third album “I Don’t Dance”, produced in cooperation with Kyle Jacobs.
