Dave Matthews Band
Biography

Dave Matthews Band is a famous rock band from the US. It was formed by Dave Matthews (guitarist), Carter Beauford (drummer and backing vocalist), Stefan Lessard (bassist) and LeRoi Moore (saxophonist) in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991. Soon they accepted the violinist Boyd Tinsley into the band. Their first singles got a lot of success, so the guys quickly got a lot of followers. They started playing from the beach clubs and frat houses. The band became very popular among the college students. In 1994 the group debuted with “Under The Table And Dreaming”, which became 11th on the Billboard 200. 2 years later the band released their second album “Crash”. It hit No.2 on the country’s charts. Even though the work wasn’t much praised, the group has sold tickets for their concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden in less than 3 hours. In 1998 the Mathews Band recorded “Before These Crowded Streets”, which became No.1. In 2005 the world saw their album “Stand Up”, which hit the top on the US Billboard charts during the first week. In 2016 the band announced about their 25th birthday anniversary and devoted to this tour, which included 45 shows in the USA.
